A road trip through the Cotswolds, the Scottish Highlands, and the British Midlands is nothing short of breathtaking—rolling green countryside, serene lakes, historic aqueducts, charming university towns, rich culture, and mystical castles at every turn.

We started our journey from Hounslow and explored the historic university city of Cambridge, the idyllic Cotswolds, Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon, Glasgow, the charming market town of Keswick, the stunning Lake District at Windermere, the picturesque waterfront town of Oban, Inveraray Castle, the dramatic landscapes of Glencoe, Fort William, Loch Ness, Loch Lomond, the spectacular Isle of Skye, Portree, the breathtaking Trotternish Peninsula, Inverness, the mystical Urquhart Castle, the beautiful city of Edinburgh, and wrapped up our adventure in the historic walled city of York.

Every destination was incredibly picturesque, each with its own unique history, culture, and story to tell. Wheelchair accessibility ranged from very challenging to moderately accessible, but with a little planning and determination, we were able to experience the beauty and charm of each destination.

Stay tuned for more Scottish Highland adventures, along with detailed wheelchair accessibility tips in our upcoming blogs!
