Tri-City Health Center (TCHC) is a federally qualified health center serving the cities of Fremont, Union City and Hayward. They serve excellent heath services to the local community. As an inclusive organization at heart, it aims to improve the overall health quotient of the local community.
On September 14, 2019 TCHC is conducting a 5K Walk for Wellness in Fremont, CA (5K Walk for Wellness). The exact location is:

♿️ Accessibility ♿️

  • The route for the Walk for Wellness is fairly accessible. There are no steep climbs or steep slope in the entire route.
5K Walk for Wellness Route
  • Booths and exhibitor tables for the 5K walk for wellness will be set up at Fremont’s Town Fair Plaza. The Plaza is fully accessible to wheelchair, although at some places the road may be a little unpaved
  • Town plaza has a accessible interactive play area for kids
  • The wheelchair accessible restrooms are in the back of town plaza
  • The closest accessible parking are at the intersection of State and Capitol street. There are additional accessible parking spots at the back of town plaza at the intersection of State and Nation. More accessible spaces are on Capitol between State and Fremont Blvd.
  • During the walk, if there is a need to use the restroom, people can use the ones in Kaiser Permanente ( on Paseo Padre Parkway), Rallis Plaza ( on Walnut Ave) and Washington Hospital ( on Civic Center Drive)
  • The side walk on Civic Center Drive between Walnut Ave and Mowry Ave is a little bumpy. One needs to be a little more careful on that segment of the walk
